Mid December LA UAC Lot Report
After only one month of working as a Driver Specialist at Uber, I was promoted to Team Lead for the West L.A. Activation Center. Then again after only 6 months I was promoted a second time, to Activations Manager. I have been instrumental in growing a team from the 8 people we had when I started to the team of over 80 there were when I left. There was a team of over 80 personnel and over 8 locations that I co-managed. On a daily basis I oversaw the operations of a team that included driver specialists, mechanics and security personnel. The daily duties performed by my staff included but were not limited to: interviewing prospective partners, inspecting their vehicles and on-boarding them as new partners for Uber. We averaged more than 5000 partners interviewed per week at our locations. I was responsible for: event set up and tear down, training my team, the screening and interviewing of new hires, scheduling, quality control of data, partner retention, maintaining vehicle standards, executing reward and incentive programs, on site customer relations, inventory, PowerPoint presentations, expense reporting as well as giving tours and trainings to occasional International Uber visitors to Los Angeles.
